Christine Hunter refuses to take life’s obstacles lying down. In her early 30s, Christine suffered a brain haemorrhage that wiped out her memory, leaving her to learn basic skills. Following years of rehabilitation, Christine was diagnosed with breast cancer.

However, determined to live life to the full, she regained her health and after studying for four years, set up a remedial massage business in the Blackburn Rovers Enterprise Centre. One year on, her Natural Therapy Room has proved so popular with clients that she is faced with a problem of a different kind.

“I’m so busy, I need to move to a bigger room,” said Christine, who has been a Rovers season ticket holder for over 10 years.

“I work part time at the moment, about two-and-a-half days a week in shared office space. My appointments book is constantly full, so I need to expand the business.

“Thankfully, I’m able to move just down the corridor to another room here, which will provide me with the opportunity to work full time.

“This will give me scope to widen my client base and allow me to be more flexible with appointments. Staying here, rather than relocating elsewhere, was always my number one priority, as the Enterprise Centre is a brilliant place to do business from.

“My clients feel at ease here, as it offers a peaceful yet very professional environment. From the reception and waiting area to the conference facilities – everything is first class.”
