Two Ewood-based entrepreneurs are set to widen their net nationwide.
Dan Green and Chris Hibbert, who run Aqualease, are expanding their Lancashire-based business further afield and will soon be opening a new office in Mansfield.
Aqualease, which has two premises in Leyland and an office at Blackburn Rovers Enterprise Centre, hire fully-serviced fish aquaria to companies, schools and health care settings in and around Lancashire.
Starting in 2003 as a part-time venture run from a spare bedroom and garage in Blackburn, Aqualease has gone from strength to strength and now employ over 10 members of staff.
Chris said: “Although we are experiencing difficult economic times, we have continued growing at an ever-expanding rate. We have been getting enquiries nationwide for some time now and expanding as a national franchise-type operation has been a long time in planning and preparation.
“We feel we have an excellent product and servicing other areas will only help strengthen our brand. By setting up in this way, it still allows us to keep control over our high standards and excellent service.”
